PHILADELPHIA FREEDOMS TO CONDUCT
FREE TENNIS CLINIC FOR KIDS
AT THE PAVILION AT VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY ON APRIL 15
The Philadelphia Freedoms will conduct a free kids tennis clinic during
an open house at the Pavilion at Villanova University on Thursday, April
15 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The clinic will be conducted by Freedoms
Assistant Coach Josh Cohen from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Open House is free and open to the public, especially kids who will
have the opportunity to play on the Freedoms court and learn from Cohen.
In addition, fans can personally select their seats for the 2010 season,
enjoy refreshments, and enter to win great prizes like US Open tickets
and a Martina Hingis autographed racquet. Those interested in on-site
promotion during the 2010 season are also welcome, as prospective
partners will have the opportunity to choose booth space during the event.
The 2010 Philadelphia Freedoms season will feature some of the greatest
tennis stars ever seen in Philadelphia - Andy Roddick, Venus Williams,
Serena Williams, and Anna Kournikova - each appearing during one home match in July.
The Freedoms will play seven home matches at The Pavilion at Villanova
University. All events will feature world-class tennis in an
innovative, fast-paced World Team Tennis format. Each evening will
include exciting Block Parties produced by Comcast-Spectacor and
featuring USTA Quick Start Tennis, live music, inflatables, mascots,
kids' games, prizes, food, and much more.
